The hospitality and accommodation sector for the Hajj season of 1447 AH has marked a major advancement aimed at enhancing the efficiency of lodging facilities in Makkah and Madinah, ensuring a sustainable, premium experience for the Guests of Allah. These comprehensive operational efforts included licensing over 1,300 accommodation facilities, expanding the capacity to exceed 46,000 beds in the holy sites. Additionally, more than 1,370 hospitality establishments across various classifications were managed in Makkah and Madinah, offering a total capacity of over 360,000 beds.

To maintain strict compliance and peak service quality, over 31,000 inspection and auditing visits were executed by more than 700 quality specialists. Furthermore, over 2,340 operational inquiries were resolved, and 4,200 awareness sessions were conducted for facility managers to boost adherence to approved standards and reduce operational gaps.

Embracing digital transformation, smart solutions were deployed to streamline pilgrim distribution and minimize hotel wait times. Advanced artificial intelligence technologies were also integrated into smart inspection systems to detect and handle operational feedback in real-time.
